P A 102 DUAL LOAD POWER ANALYZER

Providing measurement of all network parameters during each of the network cycles.
Harmonic Analysis Calculations

Front Panel Control Indicator

Front Panel-Control & Indicators of Power Analyzer

Front Panel - Control Indicator

Status Indicators
FAULT Indicator Illuminates in one of the following cases:
- Power Supply malfunction (voltage or frequency)
- Internal malfunction (hardware).
REMOTE Indicator illuminates when the PA is controlled by a computer (REMOTE mode
where all soft keys are disabled).
RELAY Indicator Illuminates when the relay is connected.
GEN. Indicator Illuminates when energy flows from the load to the network (generally,
this occurs when generator is being used, and the active power flows in the opposite direction).
ELSPEC Logo Indicator Illuminates to indicate mains supply to the Power Analyzer.

Display Controls

7-Segment Display Comprises four 7-segment LEOs.
CAP/IND. Indicators Illuminates when the power factor is within the capacitive and
indicative ranges respectively.
Note The CAP. and IND. Indicators are used only for power factor (cosq» and reactive power (Q) measurements.
DISP. Softkey Selects the parameter to be displayed
Display Parameter Indicators The parameter which is selected by the DISP. Soft key is marked by the pertinent LED. The LEDs are arranged in two rows. Switching between parameters is carried out in a cyclic manner by sequentially pressing the DISP. Soft key.
HARM.# Softkey Selects the harmonic number (3,5,7, 9, or 11) when measuring H , H or H
NORM./MIN./MAX. Selects one of the following display modes
Soft key - NORM.    Real-time normal display.
- MIN or MAX    Minimum or maximum accumulated value displays are displayed respectively.

Mode of Operation Controls

INTEGR. Soft key and Indicator Pressing this soft key will switch the Power Analyzer into the integration mode and the indicator will illuminate. In the integration mode the cosq> value is determined according to the average power factor which is measured during elapsed time (the elapsed time, is defined by the period of time between the programmed time and current time).
MODE Softkey Selects one of the following modes of operation

LOAD 1 Is selected.
LOAD 2 Is selected.
PROGRAM / ELAPSED TIME Illuminates when the PROGRAM mode is selected (the LEDTIMEilluminates), or the elapsed time mode is selected. Elapsed Time Mode: Using the arrow soft keys, enables determination of the elapsed time. The elapsed time since the last INTEGER. RESET is shown on the display in three different modes (the arrow soft keys ca.n change same by scrolling) day/hour, hour/min or min/sec. Program Mode: used to set box parameters, such as current transformer ratio, voltage etc. Note: Parameter Settings can be accessed by pressing HARM. + DISP. soft keys simultaneously for at least three seconds.
Arrow Softkeys During PROGRAM/ ELAPSED TIME mode, these softkeys are used to increase or decrease the value of the selected parameter (Program mode)
or to select the elapsed time (Elapsed mode).
INTEGR. RESET This soft key is used to reset the elapsed time (when MWh is selected). This operation is performed by pressing this soft key for at least three seconds.
PHASE Softkey Indiacators This soft key selects the phase to be used as control and measurements reference. When a phase is selected, the pertinent indicator illuminates.
