Proven technology
We supply
central safety lighting controllers for various
applications, including single circuit monitoring, single
lamp monitoring and mixed power circuit operation.
All of our uninterruptible power supply (UPS) products
employ ‘active on line’ system topology with the rectifier
and inverter providing continuously regulated galvanically
isolated voltage and frequency for the connected critical
load. Our UPS systems are configured with conventional 6
pulse or 12 pulse fully controlled rectifiers, PWM inverter
with discrete and shielded logic, static interrupter, static
bypass transfer switch and manual maintenance bypass switch
modules.
The inverters use the latest in power semiconductor devices,
the waveform generation technique is based upon the PWM
principle developed in 1970 to which our well proven high
frequency and low frequency transistor inversion control
logic technology has been applied since the late 1980’s thus
we have a vast experience in inverter design technology. Our
custom engineered industrial uninterruptible power supply
systems are designed and manufactured with single phase or
three phase outputs for use in all types of industrial
applications where extreme and arduous duty and
environmental conditions prevail.
We also produce a standardized range of high grade
industrial UPS systems with single phase and three phase
outputs complete with sophisticated remote alarm and status
indication interfacing for use with centralized monitoring
management information systems. The common logic,
subassemblies and semiconductor switching bridges from our
industrial UPS systems designs are further utilized in our
standard range of UPS systems and frequency converters to
meet the demands of the discerning IT users of critical duty
file servers and special application mainframe computers
where the normal commercial UPS systems are not considered
good enough.
Our mass transportation auxiliary power converters have also
adopted the topology and technology used in our UPS systems
and fixed installation power conversion equipment. The
converters use the latest in high frequency switching
techniques for all types of semiconductor devices in the
construction of battery chargers, DC to DC converters and
PWM sine wave inverter designs. The converters are built
into compact, rugged, shock resistant weather proof
enclosures for mounting under all types of mass transit
vehicles or on the roof of low floor height light rail
vehicles.
The communications class modular rectifiers we supply for
the telecoms and broadcasting applications use high
frequency switch mode technology with input power factor
correction and harmonics correction filters so that the
rectifier draws sinusoidal input current from the mains.
